Author’s Note: Reader Poll!
Firstly, an apology: this week’s Starwalker post is delayed. I need to do some rejigging on the story and life is pretty hectic at the moment. I’ll aim to get it up by the weekend!
Secondly, a poll: of all the characters on the ship, who do you think should leave? Why? Head on over to the forum and have your say (don’t answer here!).
There are changes coming, but the size and shape of those changes are not yet set in stone. Your answers could decide the fate of Starwalker’s crew!

As far as the readers poll question, I think my top choice would be Ray Wong. Scenario – He and Elliot get into a pissing contest regarding some change or such Wong wants to make but that Elliot has doubts about. Of course, it goes awry and kills Wong under circumstances where they cannot touch base for a replacement. Then Cirilli would have to depend on Elliot for tech support, and he could really start putting the screws to her. This would be good for a few great scenes, especially if you then had Starry trying to play the reluctant mediator between them.
I thought Lang Lang had some interesting quirks, but she has sort of faded to the background. I say play her or trade her, she might make an excellent confidant (or co-conspirator in mischef) for our Starry, and she seems to have a wicked sense of humor as well.

Hmm, Wong… definitely a contender. I will try to do more with Lang Lang in the future. Thanks for the feedback, I’ll keep it in mind!
